Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and Meiju Recommendations regarding your use of the App. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the complete legal framework for your use of the App.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, stop using and uninstall the App immediately. If you are a minor, please read these Terms with a guardian and use the App only with their consent.
Some wording in these Terms follows standard legal and compliance practice. It may sound formal or repetitive, but it is intended to clarify rights and obligations and reduce misunderstandings.

Service Description
The App is a cinematic discovery and community product for film enthusiasts. We do not provide online streaming or downloading of full video content. Main features include:
Trending & Explore
Trending picks, library exploration, now playing, acclaimed lists, and genre collections.
Details & Search
Movie/TV details, cast profiles, global search, favorites, history, and watch progress.
Community
Hot topics, review browsing, and content reporting.
AI Viewing Assistant
Smart recommendations, plot insights, taste matching, AI creation, free chat, and detail-page AI analysis.
Release Alerts
Subscribe to release dates and receive local notifications at 9:00 AM on release day.
Personalization
Theme color, light/dark mode, multi-language UI, and notification preferences.
Movie metadata (posters, synopses, ratings, cast, etc.) primarily comes from TMDB (The Movie Database). AI features are powered by third-party services such as DeepSeek AI. We may adjust, add, or discontinue features based on business needs, technical conditions, or compliance requirements.

Eligibility
- You must have the legal capacity required by the laws of your jurisdiction to enter into these Terms and use the App.
- The App is intended primarily for adult film enthusiasts. We do not recommend independent use by children under 14. Guardians should supervise minors.
- You must use the App in compliance with applicable laws in your country or region and not for any unlawful purpose.
- You understand the App does not require account registration. Personalized data is stored mainly on your device. We cannot restore local data lost due to device loss, damage, or app uninstallation.

User Conduct
When using the App, you agree to:
- Use lawfully: Not engage in illegal, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful conduct.
- Respect content: Community reviews and topics may come from third parties or sample data. Do not spread false information or engage in personal attacks.
- Use AI responsibly: Do not submit illegal, pornographic, violent, hateful, privacy-invasive, or IP-infringing content in AI chats; do not submit passwords, ID numbers, bank details, or other sensitive personal data.
- Protect security: Do not reverse engineer, crack, scrape, disrupt servers or third-party APIs, exploit vulnerabilities for profit, or overload services with automated requests.
- Act in good faith: Do not file false reports, abuse reporting, or interfere with other users’ normal experience.
If you violate these rules, we may restrict access to some or all features without prior notice and reserve the right to report to authorities or pursue legal remedies.

Community & Reporting
The community module offers hot topics, review browsing, and reporting. You may report content that appears to violate rules, is inappropriate, or is offensive by selecting a preset reason. You should not provide personal identity information when reporting.
We will review reports reasonably and may take appropriate action. Because the App has no centralized account system, we cannot provide individual feedback on specific reports, but reports help us improve the product and community environment.
The App currently does not allow users to publicly post reviews or threads. If user-generated content (UGC) is introduced in the future, we will update these Terms accordingly.

AI Features — Special Notice
AI viewing assistant, AI creation, and detail-page AI analysis use large language models and similar technologies. You understand and agree that:
- AI output is for reference and entertainment only and does not constitute professional film criticism, investment, legal, medical, or other professional advice;
- AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or subjective information about plots, cast, or release dates;
- You should independently assess AI content and not rely solely on AI replies for important decisions;
- Text you submit to AI is sent to third-party AI services for processing — see our Privacy Policy;
- We do not warrant the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content, but we continue to improve prompts and product experience.

Third-Party Content & Copyright
Posters, stills, synopses, ratings, cast information, and community reviews displayed in the App may come from TMDB or other public sources. IP rights belong to the respective rights holders. The App is for information display and fan discussion only — we do not claim ownership of such third-party content.
If you believe displayed content infringes your rights, contact us in writing with proof of ownership and the specific location of the content. We will handle verified claims in accordance with applicable law.
Reminder: The App is a film information and discovery tool, not a video streaming platform. We do not host, provide, or link to unauthorized full video resources.

Intellectual Property
Except for third-party content, the App’s overall UI design, icons, copy, interaction logic, software code, and related branding (including “Meiju Recommendations”) are owned by us or relevant rights holders.
Without our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell any part of the App, or develop derivative products based on it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Changes, Interruption & Termination
Internet services may be affected by various factors. We may change, suspend, or terminate some or all services when:
- Performing maintenance, upgrades, fixes, or security hardening;
- Third-party APIs (e.g., TMDB, AI services) are unavailable, rate-limited, or policy-changed;
- Required by law, regulation, or force majeure;
- Adjusting business strategy, iterating the product, or ceasing operations.
For planned material changes, we will try to notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. We are not liable for direct or indirect losses caused by force majeure, third parties, or your device/network issues, but we will try to help troubleshoot common problems.

Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no express or implied warranties regarding continuity, error-free operation, timeliness, or meeting your specific expectations;
- Film information accuracy depends on third-party data sources; release dates, ratings, and cast may be delayed or incorrect;
- Consequences from violating these Terms, misusing AI, ignoring release alerts, or failing to back up local data are your responsibility;
- The App does not replace licensed streaming platforms. We are not responsible for how you obtain or watch content through other channels.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption) arising from use or inability to use the App.

Feature and experience suggestions. We welcome feedback but cannot adopt every suggestion.

We cannot help with: Video streaming links, account recovery (no account system), restoring local data after uninstall, guaranteeing AI answer accuracy, or third-party platform issues unrelated to the App.
By submitting a support request, you agree we may reasonably use the device information, problem description, and email correspondence to resolve your issue. We will not use support emails for marketing without your consent.

Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by other reasonable means. Updated Terms take effect upon publication; continued use means acceptance.
Check this page for the latest version. The effective date at the top will be updated accordingly. We also recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy for synchronized updates.

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (excluding conflict-of-law rules) regarding formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution.
Disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in a court of competent jurisdiction at our place of business.
